School Councillor
Open to pupils from Years 2-6
School Councillors will want to play a part in improving our school. They will gather ideas from pupils and staff and will work with Mrs Hinds, Mrs Blaize and the teachers to make decisions that will benefit everyone, for example on developing the playground space, school fundraising activities and home learning.
To be a School Councillor you will need to be:
• A good listener
• Confident to present others’ ideas
• Reliable and attend meetings regularly

School Ambassador
Open to pupils from Years 2-6
School Ambassadors will represent our school. They help to promote the school to parents and visitors by speaking at events, showing guests around and talking to them about our school.
To be a School Ambassador you will need to be:
• Smartly presented and wearing the correct school uniform
• Confident to speak in front of others
• Know our school well and speak positively about it to others

Green Team Member
Open to pupils from Years 1-6
The Green Team will promote all things ‘green’ around the school. They will be involved in the growing of fruits vegetable and will get a chance to use their crops in cooking sessions. Children in the Green Team will also help to develop the wildlife area by planting flowers and encouraging more animals to visit. Furthermore, they will be involved in activities to encourage classes to be more eco-friendly both inside and outside.
To be in the Green Team you will need to be:
• Interested in the environment, living things and how things grow
• Reliable and attend meetings regularly
• Resilient – turning up for meetings despite poor weather!

Play Leader
Open to pupils in Years 5 and 6
Play Leaders will enjoy spending time with and talking to our younger pupils. They will teach our Reception children new games to play and help to lead play activities at lunchtimes. Play Leaders will need to be willing to spend one lunch time a week carrying out their duties.
To be a Play Leader you will need to be:
• Patient – the children may not understand your game straight away
• Enjoy spending time with the younger children
• Be reliable – the children will be expecting you!

Digital Leader
Open to pupils in Years 3-6
Digital Leaders will have a passion for computing and will want to develop their knowledge further. They will work alongside other pupils and teachers on computing projects so that they become experts. They will then be able to support younger pupils in learning these skills and help to improve their knowledge and confidence in computing.
To be a Digital Leader you will need to:
• Have a passion for computing
• Be reliable – you will have job to do!
• Be willing to work alongside other pupils and teachers and support younger pupils

Maths Leader
Open to pupils in Years 3-6
Maths Leaders will love maths and will want to share their passion for the subject with pupils across the school. They will organise Maths challenges for pupils, and help at homework club where pupils may be finding certain areas of Maths tricky. They will also work alongside teachers to choose and use new Maths resources.
To be a Maths Leader you will need to be:
• Confident and enjoy Maths
• Willing to work alongside other pupils and teachers and support younger pupils
• Organised

Junior Travel Ambassador
Open to pupils in Years 3-6
Their job is to spread important messages to other pupils, parents and the school community by giving talks, running competitions and events, completing surveys, monitoring how we travel to school and sharing successes with the school and local community.
To be a Junior Travel Ambassador you will need to be:
• Passionate about walking, cycling and scooting to school
• Organsed and good at organising others
• Persistent and persuasive with pupils, parents, and others in school

Games Captain
Open to pupils in Years 5 and 6
Games Captains will love sport and will want to share that enthusiasm with the younger pupils in our school. They will know how to play a sport really well and will teach it to the younger children. They will then help to rung the game, with the help of a mid-day assistant, so that everyone can enjoy it.
To be a Games Captain you will need to be:
• Confident to speak to other pupils/
• Know your sport really well so that you can teach others
• Be a role model, showing good sportsmanship

Librarian
Open to pupils in Years 4, 5 and 6
Librarians will love books and reading and will want to help others get the most out of our school library. They will help to issue and return books as well as tidying the library and maintaining the books. Furthermore, they will share and read books that they love with other pupils.
To be a Librarian you will need to be:
• Love books and reading
• Be confident to read with other children
• Be reliable and enthusiastic

Office Monitor
Open to pupils in Years 5 and 6
Office monitors will love helping to keep the school organised. They will know the school building well, and know where all the various classes and offices are. They will love sorting and distributing letters/information, and will not mind spending some of their free time doing this.
To be an Office Monitor you will need to:
• Know the school building well
• Be helpful and friendly
• Be reliable and turn up on time
