Admission to School
Admission to the Reception classes are managed through the London Borough of Redbridge local authority. Please be aware that there is no automatic right of entry for existing Nursery pupils to the school; parents/carers have to apply through the Local Authority as all other parents/carers.
All reception pupils are admitted in the September of the academic year. This can be a phased entry for parents who request it.
Click here for Pupil Admission information on the Redbridge i website.
School Open Days
We usually hold Open Days in November, where prospective parents/carers can visit the school in session, meet with the Headteacher, speak to current pupils and ask questions.
Are you looking for a school place for your child mid-year?
You can also make an application for a place at our school for your child, if you have moved into Redbridge or want to apply for a new school place for another reason.
Visits to our school are welcomed. Children who begin mid-way through the year settle in quickly, and are well-looked after by staff and their peers.

If you are unsuccessful in applying for a place at William Torbitt, the local authorities’ appeals process can be found here https://www.redbridge.gov.uk/schools/admission-appeals/
